Then my eye started to wander... I went with Rodinal for a while... then Agfa went bankrupt and Rodinal disappeared.... Continue reading

BIG NEGS from piezography... a HUGE DEAL!!!
Here are a couple of 11x14 negatives I just printed off my Epson 7800 using Jon Cone's digital ink set and his new experimental curve for contact printing on Ilford MG IV fibre paper. Printing them couldn't be easier -- simply flop your image horizontally in Photoshop (because you will... Continue reading

Piezography is Coming!
I recently began using Jon Cone's K7 Piezography inks in an Epson 3800. It's been a trip and quite a learning experience already! Fun with Platinum and Palladium...
My first Pt/Pd print using a digital negative made on the Epson 9900 using Mark Nelson's Precision Digital Negatives system and contact printed using an Amergraph ULF-28. A lot to think about but not bad for a first try I guess... Or "beginner's luck!" as my Uncle Tom used to... Continue reading

HOW DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY SAVED THE TRADITIONAL DARKROOM...
...or "the rumours of my negative's death have been greatly exaggerated..." by Andrew Overtoom Revolutions have a funny way of leading to unexpected destinations. And the digital photography revolution is no different. A few years back early proponents of digital photography were predicting the death of traditional wet darkroom and... Continue reading
