Life Itself
Well, that was a break. It was a bit longer than I expected. We are still adjusting to life with a teenager, a teenager who lives with autism. There are some definite, heavy challenges and new things to learn about disability services and insurance and meeting the needs of our kiddo, as well...
Oh I know, the blogs always feel better even if I am just reading what you all wrote. Doran's situation makes me worry for him and the other babies. It can be overwhelming. It's great to get back to painting. It always makes me feel better. Thank you Sweets! xo

I am such a late night person. I always have been. I wake up so tired that I am having to shift. Sleepy and cranky doesn't work with four kids or the public. Thanks for your compliments and for this forum and opportunity! Congrats on your book!!

Hi Susan,
I still haven't taken it all in. It will be hard for a very, very long time- a true understatement. I don't live in Boston anymore, but my parents do and many family, friends and colleagues-friends in Cambridge & Watertown - through all of yesterday's mayhem. It's just too much. They violated our town, our community. I wish us all peace and strength. Thank you for stopping by and sharing too. I wish I could give you a big hug.
On another note, I can tell you are a very empathetic and kind person. I am so glad someone like you help kids living with autism. Thank you.
xo,
Angela
As Life Flows
So as we sit, life flows and churns. In our household, we are in the midst of birthday season, prepping for Spring concerts and ballets, lots of celebrating, running about, and sighs over life's daily demands. It's a pretty day, flowing along like any other and then the violence happens-again....
Thank you sweet Katie! I think of you often even though I am not online as much. Thank you for the story too and for thinking of me! I will catch up with you about it soon!

Thank you so much Darcel. It has been tough. xoxo

Eastertide and Patience
Spring is slowly showing itself around here. I have heard a lot of frustration with the weather lately. I am not a hot weather person, so I am having no problem with the weather lately. However, the weather is providing a good, even if it's unwanted, lesson in patience. In watching the world...
Thanks Karen. That cold was a beast. I don't know what kind of Godzilla germ those kids gave me. I can totally empathize; I feel the same about blistery, hot days. I hope you get some sun soon!

Sugar bushes! Have a wonderful time tapping, lugging and boiling. The walk looks beautiful. I can almost smell that snowy, woodsy smell just from looking at the pictures!
It's Time
For weeks now, it's been the topic of conversation at the feed store, at the gas station and from the rolled-down windows of the pick up trucks passing by. You tapping yet? The question itself a harbinger of the end of winter days. There's a short windo...
Oh lord!! And with your other projects too. Hmm you are always so organized and focused and energetic. I know you can dew iittt!
;-) Let me know the date of the show, so I can have a look-see.
Thinking of Summer and Fall
It's 29 degrees outside and the ground is still covered with snow from the blizzard. It looks like we might be in for some more snow this weekend. Nonetheless, I am thinking of summer, fall and two shows I need to populate with some art-a summer show and Hartford Open Studio Weekend-trying to ...
