I cook and bake frequently with lavender and love it! A few recipes are here: http://welcometocenturyfarmhouse.typepad.com/welcome-to-century-farmhouse/2012/09/lavender-lemonade-cookies-anyone.html
One bit of caution: for the best flavor be sure that the lavender you are using is a culinary lavender. Franca Fusco's Boxwood Linen products are meticulously crafted of fine European linen, and Franca takes great care to ensure that each piece is beautiful and of heirloom quality. The linen lasts forever and looks wonderful just as long! You can wear the aprons, dry your hands on the towels, dine on the table linens and sleep on the sheets....Love it!

Best of luck with your new contracts, Heather. I've been following you for a while and really love your use of color in your designs. Light and color seem to drive all your work and it is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Apron and kitchen towel artwork is shipped out. Now I'm in a holding pattern, waiting to finalize two design contracts. Each correlates to a collection due on or around August 1st—two projects I'm excited to work on. On top of that, Isaac's mom is on her way here from Washington. And we're mo...
