Absolutely gorgeous! Love that yarn, too~ Definitely going to try this one. The cooler night air is wonderful even down here in Springfield. We're enjoying the night breeze a lot more now than a couple of weeks ago.

Your daughter is beautiful! I think the Mosaic striping isn't too bad - the colors are great!

I was wondering how the chicken processing went since it was the last entry. Glad you're back, and I'm excited to see what you've got cooking!

Ahaha kitty play~ Awesome job capturing the moment! We have a 3, 2, and 1 year old. The play in our house never stops, but boy is it welcome.

Oh my. What kind of bread is that? Looks like you had a lovely St. Patty's day!

I'll be honest. I never looked at luggage the way that you seem to, but now, I may have to change my perspective. That Earhart case is adorable! Enjoy your weekend away with the ladies!

Oh my, what a lucky dog! He's so cute, but I think you're sweater for him is cuter! (I'm biased - I'm a cat lady, ha ha!) I've tried the doggie clothes for larger dogs, but like you, I get too nervous to commit unless I have the dog around to try it on! Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Just wait 'til spring. You'll bounce right back. Kimba is looking so fine, unfettered by February Funk maybe? :D

So sorry to hear this. You and your flock were an inspiration; it's awful that you should experience this.

I always love making last minute gifts! Not sure why I find it so gratifying. Thanks for the pattern!

Is that your Hot Cereal sweater you're wearing? You must get some serious use out of it! And oh yeah, beautiful hat :) The color choice was perfect

I don't believe it. We both tried out the same stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving! I hadn't made it before and I found it on AllRecipes! I ended up only using about 1-1.5 cups of broth and left out the majoram, but holy cow was it delicious. High five on excellent taste!

Now I'm going to have to give that sweater a whirl! Those mitts do look awesome, too!

How wonderful! My mother taught me these types of things too, and they are some of the most precious memories I have. I hope your daughter remembers and cherishes these simple things as much as we all do.

How brave of you! I wish we had the guts (and the funds) to rip apart our kitchen like you have. Be sure to show it what it looks like after - I can't wait to see the difference. I also love the wood cabinets you have. We have the same, but on a smaller scale... it's one of the bigger reasons we bought this house.

Those pictures are enough to bring a tear to my eye, no joke. Figure so long as he's functioning in all normal ways for a little kitten, roll with it. What an absolutely precious addition to the family!
