At some point in my career I became intrigued by the inaction - lack of execution in our region in spite of tons of brilliant strategy and planning documents. Then at GWU I met Michael Marquardt, one of the main proponents of the Action Learning method. We did some work together in 2007 with HR Managers of CARICOM Central Banks and now we are working on an AL project in Dominica. The journal Advances in Developing Human Resources reported on our Dominica effort in its May 2010 issue. Action Learning is a way of facilitating people acting their way into learning.
