Johns Creek
When you look at the underside of a quilt being created it is a mess of threads and raveled scraps and frayed cloth. But when we turn it over it is amazing to see the way all those pieces have come together to make something so beautiful. This is the story of my life and how God is making something out of all the crazy pieces of my life. I hope it encourages you to look at what He is doing in your life, too.
Interests: People, laughing, football, singing in the car, oh, did I mention people?

Do it anyways
"God is great, but sometimes life ain't good, and when I pray it doesn't always turn out like I think it should, but I do it anyways." Yep, that song pretty much sums up the last 8 years in a nut shell. My life in some ways has been anything... Continue reading

Will 2012 be a great year?
I have been running this question through my head a lot in the last few days and I have come to a few thoughts. 1. I have no idea. God is guiding my steps, if He chooses to bless me in the coming year than it will be. 2. Is... Continue reading

Let me be singing when the evening comes
I love to sing! Especially worship music. Now, I would say probably most people around don't enjoy hearing me sing, but I still love it! There is something about hearing a worship song and totally agreeing with the words and feeling alive in the Lord while singing it. However, some... Continue reading

Yesterday I was looking for a verse to put on Twitter. Laurern suggested her life verse: "Be still and know that I am God." Wow, what a concept. Be still. It is not a suggestion. No, it is a command. God tells us to BE STILL. That is hard, at... Continue reading
