Hi Sheri: I'm so happy to hear that you took the time you needed with your family -- and are now taking the time you need to get back into your creative expression. Sounds like there are some very exciting things to look forward to! :) I too have had a crazy year and just now feel like things are getting back on track. First thing I put aside was my artistic outlet (big mistake), yet I'm happy to say that it's now taking a priority in my life and I am enjoying getting back into it and reacquainting myself.
