I have seen gift card holders cropping up in stores and catalogues all over the place. They seem to be the latest creative (pre-made) rage. Well, what a nice idea to think that I could have a die ready at my fingertips to cut the perfect holder every time I needed it. In addition, a store isn't choosing a limited selection of patterns on my behalf, I have the option to make them in exactly the paper/season the card is celebrating whenever I need it. You can't beat that for a nice little personal touch. I have two teenage girls so this die will easily pay for itself in no time at all :D
I was moved by the gentle touches on the Faith & Hope card. The soft frond-y leaves and the shadowing you did on the cardstock base made me pause for a moment and think about why this set is being sold and the power we can collectively give it. I also loved the soft watercolour effect on the Flower Fusion flower heads. It's a great idea that I'd like to try using to massage colours that I really love working with, but perhaps not all of my recipients (like my mom) share the same enthusiasm towards it.
I purchased the Layerz mat stack last month and I am really enjoying using it, so the Layerz mat stack 3 caught my eye right away. But let's all be honest, the snowman and that adooooorable penguin from Tremendous Treats completely stole the show. They are the cutest things ever!
Ok, I have to be honest. I didn't think I was going to like the whole animals/jungle prints theme when the sneak peeks were first rolled out this month. I just wasn't really getting the vibe but Nichole, your cards today were soooo beautiful!!! You blended them perfectly with the Mehndi Medallions (love them!) and now of course I'm smitten. Ok, so what was with that 'pitter-patter' comment? Got something to share?(tap-tap-tapping feet) {;-)
Oh wow!!!!!! This took my breath away and ladies - you really stretched creatively with these projects with such amazing results! Nichole, your elephant holding the pencil is the cutest thing EVER and your grungy trees are really beautiful. Danielle, your bird is outrageously awesome and hilarious! Heather, your vintage look with the postmarks and quill hit it out of the ballpark. Jessica, watercolours hold a special place in my heart and your card took my breath away. I could go on and on about every single project, but I'm getting a bit syrupy and I have this odd feeling a Gong Show judge is going to come along and give me the hook any second now! lol

I've been looking for fresher baby options than what I'm currently using and Bundle of Love and Sweet Baby are just perfect! I also do a lot of onesie cards, so the onesie die will save me soooo much time (I hate measuring those The 'boat and tote' die is great as well. My city is hosting a very large disabled sailing regatta this summer and I'd love to figure out a way to put a little goodie basket in each of the registrants' arrival packages using the die as my foundation. Way to go ladies on your vision and your gorgeous projects. Now to just think up what I'll make those cute little totes out of. Hmmmm....acrylic...felt....hybrid materials...I'm smiling ear to ear already. :)
Gorgeous projects and great tips Heather! I love your designs and your soft, antique-chic style is always a source of inspiration!

I LOVE the Lazy Stamper Accordion Medallion! I love accordion medallions and adore them on cards, but I HATE making! They usually take so much fussing and I end up flustered and frustrated. Thank you for coming up with an easy to follow, affordable solution - wonderful! :)
The Clearly Creative "ice" looks gorgeous and I would have NEVER though to use Sweet Blush on a holiday/winter card. It looks soooo adorable - I am absolutely captivated!
Love the new tags - super cute! Clean designs, great colour combinations. I'm also loving the look of the new Diamonds impression plate. Very exciting!!! I'm still new to PTI, but I'm quickly learning that the monthly countdown is sort of like the adult version of waiting for Santa. Perhaps someone at PTI could design a perpetual release date advent calendar? lol

The new fillable frames are terrific and the sentiments that Heather chose for Peace Be Still are so lovely. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to get stamped phrases that go beyond your 'safe' generic greeting. Thank you for providing us with not just another option, but a gorgeous one at that :)
Isn't it funny how the simplest ideas are often the best? Framed looks like it will be such a terrific addition to many stamp sets anyone may already have on hand, cards, journaling areas on scrapbook pages, altered books, the list just keeps on going. Thanks PTI team for constantly striving for the best of the best.
