Both cards are beautiful! I so agree on the monochromatic cards - I did almost the same card for my DSIL last month and she loved it (happily she keeps and sometimes frames what I send to them!).... TFS all that you do!!!

Okay - here I am - I do actually like this card...especially the effect with the labels, but I'd love to know exactly what you did. The colors are nice and I like the ribbons on the upper left - agree they are best with some bling. Could also use DSP or plain paper strips. And I think the hearts and bling at the bottom really do give it all balance. You probably guessed that I would like it!!!
I really like this card! I used this same stemp set for a small swap last year and actually used clear embossing powder - think I finally used Sahara Sand as it looked the best and mountd on a darker color. I was proud of my little card!!! Now to try the gate's so different and does create the wow affect! Have a great weekend!
I absolutely love this card - as you said bright and cheery and something that a 2 year old will enjoy - especially the bright and shiny number 2! I remember when my then 2-1/2 yr old great niece got a gift with a card from me and just hugged the card - my heart still melts at the thought! I don't think the Happy Birthday sentiment just hangs there - I think it balences with the white on the number DSP. I didn't buy this paper and now I wonder why - great for any age but really good for the under teen group!

What a wonderful project - love the blue center and brad. Thanks for sharing the tip about the multi-adhesive glue, probably most of us had no idea to use it to stick to glass (or another shiny surface). TFS everything!

Love both of your cards...!!!! My bro/sis-in-law had Scotties for quite a few years and they are such fun- but no snow in San Diego area. I used to find Scottie things everywhere..... Thanks for sharing your love of the dogs in the cards!

Very pretty cards, always the embellishments you add really make them come alive!
All three so different, as they should be. Love the last card with the Gingerbread man holding the tree as though it's a balloon!!!
I love that each of these cards is clean and simple - my favorite type! Yes, the combination of the stamps and DSP are fabulous. Thank you for sharing your shares!

Oh, Connie - this Greatful card took my breath away! Yellows and oranges are not my colors so these colors that you used are perfect from my perspective, and make the card very rich looking! The friend card is also great - very bright and pretty. TFS! is now following The Typepad Team
