Answering the Burning Questions: How Do You Say What You Do?
Mmm, who am i? What do I do? How do I tell people? I've been reading a ton about being a multi-potentialite (via Miss Emilie), so this week's burning question really stuck out for me: How do you say what you do? (Give your self credit.) It's the question you... Continue reading

Pinterest Pretties - 03/14/12
It is a whopping 66 degrees outside and believe me, I have been dancing in the warm sunshine! Winter has been kind to Minnesota this year, temperature-wise (mostly to make up last year's nearly unbearable frigid though fantastically snowy weather). So, in honor of happy thoughts of summer days to... Continue reading

Oh man, I have the hardest time finishing books. I'd be the one at the book club that has only gotten into the first five chapters (which i devoured on day one) before something distracted me and I never picked it back up.
That caramel corn looks delicious!
happy 2012!
I sure hope everyone had a lovely holiday. We did. We made a few batches of this caramel corn (thanks hillary, for mentioning it) and it's really, really good. I didn't use microwave popcorn, just made it with 1/2 cup unpopped kernels on the stove top. I have been reading and knitting quite...

Food For Thought Friday: A Model for Honest Retail
I am deep into my apparel coursework, a part of which emphasizes the business of retail, ethical practices and consumer behavior. Musical Notes: Tallest Man on Earth
Understated folk with sweet thoughtful lyrics, maybe a little bit dark. This is Tallest Man on Earth: (...) One catch: after soundcheck the day before, Tallest Man’s guitars were locked inside the NYC music venue, Town Hall, where he’d be playing later that night with Bon Iver. Solution: we’d have...
