When trying to import a SHP file using MAPIMPORT or exporting using MAPEXPORT in Civil 3D 2014 or Map 3D 2014, you may see this warning. Clicking the OK button just sends you back to the file dialog, so you won’t get any farther than that. What you need to do is add the following to the providers.xml file.
