I just saw this movie on opening night last Friday which I don't normally do, but it was so worth it! It was the best movie I've seen in a long time and for sure the best Marvel movie I've ever seen. I'm reading the first book - A Nation under our feet now. Thank you for all the other wonderful suggestions Andrea!

Thank you so much for this piece Soheli. I find that there is major misrepresentation with all "minority" races in Hollywood and the media. If different cultures are represented, they are done so with appropriation...or there is typecasting. There are so many black and other culture/race films out there, but this is poorly reflected in Hollywood's Award Ceremonies, especially the Oscars. Dear White People is a great movie by the way :)

Thanks for the info Charlene! I had no idea there would be so many FREE music and art events for PAN AM. Since I'm not the biggest sports fan, this is very good news. Will definitely be going to see the Roots on August 8 ;)

Thanks Mario all the way from Quebec! By the way, I love Quebec's public transportation - very efficient. That's very interesting just today in the paper I read that GO Transit is planning on electrifying their GO trains in Ontario within the next 10 years.
