Veronica...glad you liked the post! How cool is it that you have family ties to Bremen?? Hope you get to visit there some day to retrace some family history. Fun comment about liking bread to fight back a little! I always feel like "why eat anything devoid of texture and flavor"? White bread definitely falls into that category!

The Pannekoeken that I had the pleasure of trying was a savory version. Can't remember the name, but it had asparagus and pancetta and was so amazing! Haven't tried the Southsider Bloody Mary. I think I had the Stinking Rose! Garlic, Garlic and more Garlic...yummmm!
