Lately I have been interviewing for work. It has been a long while since I have worked, 15 years to be exact. Although I am not enjoying the process (completely), it has begun to teach me to think for a moment - before I speak. Because it's been awhile I... Continue reading

I love to receive a homemade birthday card, so here is where I try return the same. I would estimate that I make approximately 21 birthday cards a year, and ALWAYS with your stamps and dies.
The month starts out with a bang for me, my birthday is on the 4th. This year we celebrated at my niece's home with good old fashioned cheese burgers, chips and corn on the cob. I did manage to take a few photos that I will share with you. Several... Continue reading

I just love the new masculine ideas, especially for Dad's. Who's father doesn't have a lazy chair? I am looking forward to the 15th.
A friend of the family is expecting her first child, a baby boy, at the end of April. Time flies so fast that I decided to make a card now, to mail when he is born. Otherwise it never happens. So it is now sitting at the front door, with... Continue reading

My ultimate gift would be just one more day to craft with my mother before her Alzheimers. She taught me from a small age that my creativity was a gift. I miss her talents.
When I posted the Birthday Card I made yesterday, I referenced that I had spent some time cleaning up my craft room. Those of you who are lucky enough to have such a room know how quickly things become a mess. Forgive the clarity of the pictures, but you will... Continue reading

Last week I mentioned a blog that I recently came across, Ordinary Courage. She posted a review and this picture about this book: This particular quote is from a book recently published titled "Marriage Rules". But I feel that this quote could be applied to all of our relationships. I... Continue reading

Early yesterday morning I was getting ready to go to a luncheon with some friends. After taking a shower I heard Sadie whimpering in the living room, so I headed downstairs (with wet feet). Jake began to follow me, passed me on the landing and I tripped down the remaining... Continue reading

I realize I am a few days late with this posting, but I could not get my Adobe Photoshop to work. Jim and I don't, and never really have, exchanged presents or gone out to dinner on this date. Lately, though, I have been getting some super sweet love letters.... Continue reading

Can I do it? I have been wanting to do it for two or three years. My niece actually put her beautiful little hands on this book and gave it to me for Christmas. And after reading the book, cool/cold/damp weather is exactly when you don't want to make marshmallows.... Continue reading

It is a beautiful sun shiny day here in Southern California. I was out running some errands this morning and could not help but admire the sunshine. As I was basking in the sunshine my mind was overflowing with things I "could" do today. Sometimes my mind runs a million... Continue reading

We have been fortunate to visit many countries in Europe. But yet one remains on my "bucket list". That one is Greece. Blue waters, bike riding and the food - mmmmmmm.
