I can't take any credit for the idea. It was suggested by Alix.
Glad to have you aboard.
I've Always Wanted To Make A.......
Is there something you’ve always wanted to make, or perhaps a technique you’ve always wanted to try, but have never had the courage to give it a go? What if there was someone else doing the same thing at the same time so you could muddle through together? Jen has always wanted to make a Pingle...

What's in a Number?
Last week, somebody on Twitter posted a link to this table from positiveintegers.org (I really apologise for not making a note of who it was). It was billed as a useful resource for designers because it lists all of the factors of the numbers between 101 and 200 so you... Continue reading

How to: Hexa Hap tutorials
One of the joys of knitting is that once you have mastered a technique, or found your perfect pattern, you can keep on going happily as long as you please. Equally, you could find a pattern you long to knit and discover that you need to learn something new in order to make any progress. It's the...
Thanks. We have some more in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks Beverley. You really are too kind.
HapsarehappeningKAL Weekly Progress
All over Knitlandia, knitters are making haps in all sorts of shapes in all sorts of yarn. This week, I've picked up some pictures of the haps that weren't featured last week. Working backwards, first up is a finished object: Lucy Hague's Uncia, made by Danielle (KnittingNixon) I am constantly...

This knit-a-long (hap-a-long?) has been running in our Ravelry group for a whole week. I am already struggling to keep up, simply because there are so many people taking part and talking about how they're getting on. This is of course a good thing since it means that there are huge numbers of ph...
Thanks for your kind words.
It's not hard to find great projects to feature. The issue is actually slimming everything down to a digestible size. With more knitters joining still, I'm going to have my work cut out for weeks to come.

Really pleased you like it. If you'd like to see alternative colours, look on Jen's project pages on Ravelry.
Nut-Hap
Quite some time ago, I wrote Knitting Ruined my Wife: an occasional column for Simply Knitting magazine. One of the articles was entitled The Girl Who Cried Tubular Cast-On; a nearly true story of my being kept awake because Jen just couldn't stop thinking about "this wonderful technique". Jen...

If you're of the knitterly persuasion and you haven't yet read Clara Parkes' Knitlandia: A Knitter Sees the World, then you've missed something. While it lives up to its billing and follows Clara on her adventures across the globe, meeting, teaching and learning from knitters and yarn producer...
I was left wanting more. A good sign, I think.

I'm sure her warmth (damn autocorrect nearly had that as wrath) will come through. Hope you enjoy it when you get it.
