I thought I'd review a book for a change. Actually, I'm getting ready for my own review of Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein, but I really wanted to pick up Evan Sayet's book on psychopaths, Kindergarten of Eden-How the Modern Liberal Thinks, because I saw this classic YouTube speech he... In mere moments after the horrific massacre of 27 people in Newtown, Connecticut, including 20 children, the Left is on the march for more gun control. They do not stop. They take any and every opportunity to promote their agenda. They never let a crisis go to waste. I'd like... Continue reading

Narcissism needs to have its own article. It's not a trend simply with Leftists, although the difference between an Leftist and a mature adult is that the mature adult should be able to recognize where his narcissism is steering him wrong and why. The Leftist is unable to recognize it. Yes, conservatives can succumb to narcissism. We all can, because we all start out that way as kids. Part of growing up involves learning that it ain't all about you, and that the world isn't out to screw you over, so you have to reorient your mindset so you're aware of how your decisions affect others.
What I'm doing with these articles is laying down the basics, which need to be taught and re-taught. Having just read Evan Sayet's book The Kindergarten of Eden only confirmed why this needs to be done; we're dealing with people with a child-like attitude about life who are determined to avoid all personal responsibility by shedding rational thought, because it is believed that all conflict stems from the notion of the attempt to be right. As such, they tune out of life in very important ways, especially the self-reliance factor. It would be funny if it weren't often so tragic, how these people end up ruining their lives if they decided to take control of their destinies. The schlock talk shows are filled with tear-jerking stories of girls too young or well into their 20s or 30s with unexpected pregnancies, with people strung out on drugs, or other things that ruin their lives, and they act like victims. On some level the shows will say that they are taking responsibility, maybe, but more often than not they try to look for a solution that somehow lets these people off the hook for the messes they made.

There is a cold, hard, and terrifying truth about Life that everyone must face in some way. If you accept it, you're probably a Conservative, and if you reject it, you're definitely a Statist. It is: Nobody will care about your needs, wants, and desires nearly as much as you... Continue reading

America is about to plunge over the so-called fiscal cliff — and Americans are fighting mad about it. According to the latest polls, 77 percent of Americans believe that the fiscal cliff — a combination of automatic tax increases and spending cuts set to kick in at the beginning of... Bert Gordon: Eddie, is it alright if I get personal? Fast Eddie: Whaddaya been so far? Bert Gordon: Eddie, you're a born loser. Fast Eddie: What's that supposed to mean? Bert Gordon: First time in ten years I ever saw Minnesota Fats hooked... really hooked. But you let him off.... Continue reading

When I was a kid, with dreams of conquering the world (literally), I wanted to make some money. And I did what a lot of kids that age did, I delivered newspapers. Max Wylde...Paper Boy! This was not an easy job at first glance. When I first got the job,... Continue reading

This is an interpretation of the books of the history of the Hebrews from their time in Egypt until they get to Canaan. Actually, it's my interpretation. I'll be happy to discuss this with any priest or rabbi about this subject. For 400 years, the Hebrews were living in Egypt,... Continue reading

Okay, so now we know that Virtue is essential to Freedom, the question is how do you promote it, especially in a nation as pluralistic and diverse as ours? Simple. Control the Culture. Maybe that's not so simple, but that's the answer. The vast majority of nations in history have... Continue reading

I think it's safe to assume that everyone has seen this movie. If you haven't, you're born yesterday, and you need to watch this film. Stop reading this right now, find this film somewhere, take the time to watch it. This is one of the best films you'll ever watch,... Continue reading

I just wanted to get this one out of the way. Yes, my friends, this is a negative review. Christmas Vacation is not a good Christmas movie. It's not a bad one, but it's not what I look forward to each year, along with Scrooge, It's a Wonderful Life, A... Continue reading

Go through this blog, and you may pick out some digs on Libertarians. I'd like to explain my position on Libertarians and Libertarianism. I am not a Libertarian. But, I do like some, if not most, of their ideas, mostly with regard to reductions in the size and scope of... Continue reading

Scrooge is my all-time favorite Christmas film. It is a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, and it stars Albert Finney as the best Ebenezer Scrooge I've yet to see. Also starring Sir Alec Guinness as Jacob Marley, and Kenneth More as the best Ghost of Christmas Present... Continue reading

My Thanksgiving this year was notably interesting. Half of my family, rather my extended family, are Obama voters. And they know my stance. Or, at least, they think they do. I don't know who decided to hold Thanksgiving at my Aunt and Uncle's house this year, but at least I... Continue reading

I'm going to tell you a true story that happened to me. When I was 11 1/2 years old (my favorite age, by the way), I tried out for Little League. Years before I tried out, I was a Baseball fanatic. I collected the cards. I had four bats. I... Continue reading
