It feels like it was just yesterday when I was channel surfing one night and stumbled on an Asian show with sub-titles. It seemed interesting, so I continued to watch it. A few days later I found myself at 11pm watching the same show. Like bait to a fish I was hooked. I loved the story line, the music, and I loved the culture. Being a journalist in Mexico can be a death sentcnce for many. Especially because most of the news they write, are about corruption and drug trafficking. Jaime Gonzalez Dominguez, an online journalist reporter and founder of Ojinaga Noticias was killed on March 3rd, 2013. Mr. Dominquez was a reporter with Contacto for many years. Fake Mexican Journalist gets jailed time in Nicaragua
While many journalist in Mexico are targeted for writing the truth about violence and drugs in Mexico. You have people posing as Mexican Journalist covering a story in Nicaragua. These "journalists" are really trafficking drugs between the two countries. According to bbc.co.uk, 18 Mexicans were sentenced to 30 years in prison by the Nicaraguan government. The group was charged with money laudering, organized crime, and drug trafficking. The growing "it" thing to do in Iran is to undergo rhinoplasty surgery, or simply called a nose job. And according to guardian.co.uk, Iran now has the highest rate in the world. British prosecutors have decided that Australian radio DJ's Mel Greig and Michael Christian will not be charged with the death of Jacintha Salandha.
