Good morning beautiful, it's so good to have you here. I do so love to welcome you back after a restful weekend with a wedding just like this one. Illustrator Emma and her husband James, who is a legal secretary, tied the knot on 2nd November last year at The Crucible Theatre, followed by a reception at Leopold Hotel - both in the city of Sheffield. I love these photographs by India Hobson - they so wonderfully document a very elegant, vintage meets modern-city style celebration. Emma's original 1930s gown with that eye-catching cloudburst pattern is divine and I adore... Continue »

We're home, glorious home. It feels great. I've been making my rounds to the store and the car wash and the hair salon. The hair salon, in particular, was much needed. Since I went ombre in January (JANUARY), I've barely touches my tresses. I got it trimmed once. In 6 months. I hate dealing with hair. But lately I've sort of been craving a change in my look. I kinda miss my pink hair, but at this point it feels a little Been There. So I hopped on over the InStyle beauty site where you can try on different hair... Continue »

Post by Blog Manager Robbi Hess My, how the times have changed! When I was a thirteen-year-old and my siblings were ten- and nine-years-old we rode from New York to Florida in the back of my dad's pick up truck. It had a cap and was padded with dozens of sleeping bags and blankets and I have to say we felt safe and secure. Fast forward to when I had my children and you couldn't even leave the hospital with an approved child safety seat. No sliding around the back of the car Matilda-style for my infants. If memory serves,... Continue »

Oh my gawd! Those gorgeous girls over at Pocketful of Dreams - part of the Love My Dress team of regular contributors have gone and totally recreated their concept of a mood board/inspiration board. Let's face it, there are a myriad of mood-boards across the blogosphere right now, so we want those featured on Love My Dress to be truly engaging and stand out from the crowd. I love what Michelle and Vicki have done with these boards - wedding venues are usually the very first thing that a bride and groom look at when they become engaged. Once the... Continue »
