Today I have instructions on how to make a terrific card using gears for a new look. My favorite card sketches offer placement for flowers. To use such a sketch for a masculine card apply gears or stars as your go to shape. ~ Today, Be You ~ When using a gear the shape can be punched into the base of the card. Back it with a contrasting color and the card design begins to take shape immediately. Here the 4.5x6.5" top layer is cut from light colored cardstock and the dark under layer is 5x7". If you need a quick, cute, and easy to reproduce design look no further!!! ~ Snowflake Tab Cards ~ Cut 12x12 sheet of cardstock into 8 strips of 3"x 6". Score and fold the strips 1.5" from one end and 1.75" from the other end. In the center of the end with the 1.5" fold punch a snowflake tab using Kreaxions Punch #312. The embossed flourish designs give the card a taste of elegance with out making it too fancy. The sequins add a touch of whimsy to the design. ~ Believe ~ This cycling card made with green ombre paper has a 2.5" x 3" card for holding a pendant. Charity here from Scrappin' Chaos. Today's project is a Lego sorter, lined with Kreaxions Glitter Card Paper. ~ Lego Sorter ~ This lovely sectioned tray is the bottom half of a bead organizer. I brought it home from a thrifting expedition and watched the boys eyes light up! "It's a Lego sorter!" he cried out in delight. And so it was. I measured the paper to fit four sections, stenciled and embossed an image onto it, then cut it into four. The edges needed a little trimming, but the design divided perfectly at the center. I cut the jar from the green paper with a craft knife. I added dandelion fluff stamps for the inside of the jar on the card front. I used dimensional adhesive for the green jar to pop it up. Today's project is a mini-album to commemorate those fur babies that have gone over the rainbow bridge. ~ Not Forgot ~ I cut the album pages using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. The decorative butterfly on the front was cut using the Butterfly Die. I ran it through a paper crimper then added glitzy details. One pro tip is to cut a chunk of card stock out, close to the size of the circle wanted, then use the circle cutter to fine tune. Charity here from Scrappin' Chaos. Today's card puts a little modeling paste to work as well as Kreaxions Punch #916. ~ Hello There ~ The circular frame is a 3.25" circle with a 2.25" center cut out. Exact sizes are so easy when using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. I marked the circle into 8 sections then used Punch # 916 around the edges.
