Well written Peter. I applaud the hard work, determination, and integrity that Caner (and BPC Faculty/Staff) has put forth and cheer at the outcome. My prayers are with Ergun and his family as they heal. In spite of all the naysayers and haters of Ergun--he again has shown himself to be above reproach and a Godly example of a servant, husband, and father.

Peter, I found it laughable! Thanks for posting it, I got a good laugh, and even more good laughs reading some of the responses from the "followers" of JD! I think I now more clearly understand what a 'Georgia hoot' is! Blessings Peter.

Peter, For some reason I did not see this article when I sent you an email, my apologies! But thanks for posting it here. It is a nice statement, but I am not sure that it accomplished any purpose. It tells us that we have similarities, and differences--something we already knew. It tells us that we should put them aside and work together for the sake of the Gospel--something we have already been told. I believe the statement would have been a bit better with a definition given of: Gospel, regeneration, and atonement. Because the truth is, there are many Calvinists and Non-Calvinists that are still working from different dictionaries. I hear the cry "can't we all just get along?" But the truth is--on some of the issues sited under "tensions"-- No, I can't. Just this young pastors humble opinion...
