I got some snippets of Sir Lance today, but he is mostly eluding me.
Last night was part of the mooncake festival and I was allowed to have duck. Duck is one of the special foods for the festival: The mooncake festival marks the end of the autumn harvest, and is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar... Continue reading

Bad Paul had another GAS attack and acquired the Tascam DR-70D 6 input / 4 track / multi-track field recorder. It is now a great price, less than $400 and less than half what it was when it first came out 5 years ago. Super capabilities for a ridiculous low... Continue reading

And secure in their destination, because they applied for a visa through the proper channels, and were patient, and did not consort with criminals to jump the queue and play poker with their own children's well being.

Well Thygo asked the question. How does my new Sony A6000 with an 18-200 lens compare in weight to my workhorse, the Nikon D7500 with the 16-80 lens. I've been scientific, and also thrown in the Nikon B700 and the Sony RX100 IV. The Nikon D7500 with the 16-80: The... Continue reading

Is it half full, or actually half empty. Run out of boat photos ... ah ... a challenge.
