Yes, Artbin excels at offering awesome storage solutions!
That is ANOTHER terrific thing about Aurifil - those yummy collections come in nice, tidy little stackable boxes!
Oh yes - the cat hair. And the dog hair. And just anything that happens to be flowing in the air (like pollen here in the spring!).
You are right. I love the look of the thread on racks on the wall - provides a lovely splash of color. But what about the exposure to light and to dust??? Hmmmm......inquiring minds......
Wow! Sounds like you are already super organized!
Exactly! And because most dorm rooms are small, usually you can find space friendly storage solutions that are cute (gotta love cute!).
I couldn't agree more! I love my fabric and threads...but need some degree of control so I can create.

Yep - that's why I added the curtains. For my old cabinets (lower to the ground), I glued velcro to the top of the cabinet, and then stitched the other side of the velcro to flannel "curtains" - same idea as what you saw above, but in a smaller format.
Absolutely NOTHING wrong with a pile system - I tend to revert to piles myself!
I think scraps are something most of us deal with. I used to keep my scraps in a small rolling cart with drawers, and organized by color. It was a fun challenge to try to make a project just using the scraps from the cart!
Yes, I do! I'll admit it - I have a basket problem!!!!
Can't wait to see your newly finished space!
Wow - sounds like you are super organized!
Exactly why I love the cubbies - contained chaos!
Yep - staying flexible and yet having a system - that's what it's all about!
Isn't it interesting how many different ways we can each deal with the same thing - fabric?
Oh, couldn't we all. What a great idea for a future hop - scrap busting strategies!
Stacking drawers are awesome because you can easily open each one to see what you need.
