We actually turned our bell peppers into Pepper Beef and pasta sauce, so I can't really say that I have any experience... I guess what I can tell you is that, if this is your first time making stuffed bell peppers, look up a recipe! You don't need to follow the measurements word-by-word (aka you can add more, say, black pepper if you really like the taste black pepper), but recipes give you a nice general guideline for which spices and ingredients you might want to add. Also, use your best judgement for cooking times -- if the recipe says bake for 30 minutes, look at your food at the 20 minute and 25 minute mark to make sure they don't burn. If it doesn't look done at 30 minutes, give it another 3. Stuff like that. Also don't forget salt. Salt is important.
