Glad you enjoyed Mate. See you in the water.
Thank you all for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed. Andrew.
Society, like nature, is a self organising system. One of the defining qualities of such a system is the ability to establish order following a critical phase of chaos. From the turbulence emerge new properties, new synergies and new information. This results in a system wide shift, a refinement on... Continue reading

In my previous blog we compared our outer and inner voyages. Those mental journeys into which we dive. Analogous to a swim in our vast ocean, whose distances and depths extend so they may as well be endless. Whose current, tides, tempests or calm, depend on the coordinates we set... Continue reading

Every morning we head out there, a journey into the ocean to find something more to add to our lives, something that fuels us. But you can’t keep heading out forever. Sooner or later we must return, bringing our experience back to solid ground. To the here and now. We... Continue reading

Thank you Edwina, No need to count, it's the connection that matters.

Breathing. We are talking about breathing... Because it's important, it keeps you alive, but how often do you think about it? Consider poor dolphins. They always have to think about their breathing, consciously ensuring their blowhole is above the water before they let themselves take a breath. Then what happens... Continue reading

There’s usually a sharply increased awareness of the Coriolis effect at this time of year whilst entering the morning swim. Earth’s rotation moves the ocean surface left of the northerly winds, allowing cold water to spiral its ascent onto our beaches, bringing with it a little discomfort. But this shall... Kierin, I'd like to say it's my impressive equipment... But it's just the red B&B camera, plus taking the time to play around with basic editing of contrasts and cropping etc before uploading them. Thanks for reading my blog. That makes two of you (...hi Mum)

It's almost the end of December. That time we make resolutions for the new year... Did you know the ancient Babylonians were celebrating New year’s and making resolutions 4000 years ago… Yep, 4000 years ago people were promising that this year they’d finally fit into their skinny jeans. Statistics on... Continue reading

... You know, the opposite of a safe space. A place were you can stretch yourself, learn new skills and accomplish things that frighten you. Do the thing you're avoiding but need to do to become a better you... A space to be afraid and grow. Your first morning swim... Continue reading

If we focus on our differences, we'll find them more numerous than the stars, If we simmer in our outrage, we'll burn hotter than the sun, If we see ourselves from a higher view, we'll realise we are one. Thanks Kierin, It was great to see the turtle this morning. Also, there's a link to a longer article there too. I try to limit myself to a few paragraphs on the BnB blog. Thanks again.
Poor health is often blamed on bad genes, bad germs and, essentially, bad luck. It's a beguiling narrative, quite popular as it allows us to shirk personal responsibility for our health and happiness. In basic terms, health can be described as the consistent correct organisation of all 37 trillion cells... Continue reading

Thanks Anne, It's great to hear when people get it. Especially in a world where many seem to only value superficial, instant gratification. Yes, it works. That's why I've dedicated my life to providing this unique, gentle technology so people on the Northern Beaches can benefit. Specifically targeting and resolving the body's conditioned responses to stress provides a perceptual freedom that opens up new worlds. Also, because society is based on a collective perception, it has a knock-on effect beyond the individual. When you change yourself in this manner, you change the world. So thank you for doing the work.

Everyone wants to have health... Right? But it’s difficult to obtain something without knowing what it is you are seeking. Many have been led to believe that as long as you don’t have pain or ‘symptoms’, you must be healthy. This dangerous misconception disconnects us from experiencing real health and... Continue reading

Ever heard of an OODA loop? It’s an acronym for ‘Observe, Orient, Decide, Action’; a combat term created by John Boyd, exploring how agility and efficiency can overcome a seemingly more powerful adversary. It also describes the evolutionary cycles that allowed you to develop from a single cell organism to... Continue reading

We used to believe the brain, that pink capped bit you see bobbing above the water out at The Point, was the seat of consciousness... It now appears more true that what's going on below the water counts for more... That consciousness originates in the body, and the brain is... Continue reading

Good one Simon, Thanks. 16.5 degrees sounds tropical... It's all relative.
Say you saw someone having difficulty this morning. Uncertain, overwhelmed, out of their depth and struggling to stay afloat. What would you do? You’d take action to improve their situation, right? Because that’s what the better part of us does. That better part that’s in everyone. Even you. The hero... Continue reading
