Always good to read the political beat from the conservative trenches of the left coast. One has to remember how and why President Trump was elected President by the "deplorable" voters. We were saturated with do-nothing politicians accountable only to their lobbyists and each other. We did not want another politician to hold the office of President. We chose a brilliant, somewhat unpolished, businessman. A patriotic man with appreciation and love of country and respect for the military. We haven't had a true constitutional Republican party for many years. This President not only is denied support from both party's but has what I now call the Joseph Goebbels 'Ministry of Propaganda' fake news media driving a mantra of hate. So when the Pelosi's and Durban's react in an offensive manner to the Presidents choice of words I submit we should all be offended of both political parties for failing the voters and the many disasters they failed to address for years, kicked down the road only to end up on President Trump's plate. And we should be further offended by their self-ingratiating obstruction as he attempts to right all the previous administrations, wrongs.

I really enjoyed your "Local Politics in the Land of Nancy Pelosi" and you're reasoning for remaining in a progressive state of the growing socialized left coast. Common sense always seems to get displaced when socialism is again attempted. And the most frustrating part of socialism is it consumes everything in the name of equality, usually never applies to those implementing it, and of course, has never succeeded. Just so unfortunate that parts of America have to re-visit this economic theory of organization and failure.
Bill; Like most people at this time in the campaign, I am exhausted and without energy or opinion. Just such a bizarre state of affairs. It's all on us and will be a disappointing result whomever candidate wins. I believe the most interesting and disturbing statement for me was when George H.W.Bush came out with his statement of support for Hillary. I realized then that there is really no longer a two party system and has not been one for some time.
Bill; I look forward to you're weekly newsletter as it is always insightful and informative. This is another one you 'hit the ball out of the park'on. I truly believe the real danger in America today is not Isis or the ineffective, narcissist we have for a commander in chief. The real danger lies within America and those 47% that supported this president for a second term.
