Above mentioned points helps me to conduct effective webinars. Tools like webex, R-HUB web conferencing servers, gomeetnow, gotomeeting etc. can be used for conducting webinars, web conferences etc.
I agree with Matt Bowell. Mixing presentation and video involves some amazing feats of timing to not completely discombobulate the audience! Various tools like webex, R-HUB web conferencing servers, gotomeeting etc. are used for conducting web video conferences.

Satisfaction of webinar attendees depends upon various factors and one factor is: which technology / tool you use for conducting webinars. If you are using open source webinar tools, it is likely that because of frequent disconnections or technical issues, attendees might get bogged out and leave your webinar. On the other hand if you are using paid tools like R-HUB web conferencing servers, webex, gotomeeting etc. technical faults will be at minimal which wont result in any atttendee frustration.

Gotowebinar is a quality webinar tool. Alternatively, you may consider an on premise web conferencing server from R-HUB. It provides everything you need in one box.

In addition to Webroom, you may also have a look at an on premise web conferencing solution from R-HUB.

join.me is good with its limited set of features, but you should consider GoMeetNow which matches GoToMeeting for features and quality and is much cheaper: http://webconferencing-test.com/
