The need for assistance in making buying decisions has never been greater because we have more choices than ever and products have more features. Think about how many more gadgets and safety features you have in a car these days. You need to learn the products and gain the knowledge to be able to talk about them confidently. Maybe the biggest challenge would be to change your perception of what it means to be a salesperson. Many people think of salespeople as being pushy and aggressive which couldn’t be further from the truth. A sale is not something we do to people, but something we do for people and with people.
