Coming back from holiday in Waihi, on the winding roads, through the gorge. My eyes couldn't take it in, I was just too tired. Music on loud, windows down, anything to keep me awake. I don't remember much of the journey and I wonder how I got home safely that day. It sends chills down my spine thinking about what could have happened, very easily, that afternoon.
