As my family grew so did our relationship. In the cold of winter or extreme heat of summer we would meet her with my family at Manco & Manco for pizza in Ocean City. The #4 GHS Lions (20 - 9) defeated host #1 Paulsboro (22 - 4) 59 - 52 in the South Jersey Group 1 Playoff to advance to Tuesday's South Jersey Finals against #2 Salem, who defeated Wildwood. Gloucester City Travel Basketball made up of girls and boys in grades 5 thru 8 competing in the Gloucester County Basketball League. This year due to Covid Restrictions, GCBL did not have any travel teams at grade 3/4 as in the past, this season both boys and girls participated in the Junior (grade 5 & 6) and Senior Divisions (grade 7 & 8). The 2021 City Series was not much of a game as the GHS (9-1) Lions defeated cross town GCHS (0-11) Rams 56 - 0 with a second half running clock.
