Saw the Obvious Plant label, love their stuff. And as much as I like brussel sprouts, I'm happy to say I never tried the soda version.

Not entirely unbelievable, considering that Jones Soda came out with a three bottle gift pack that was Thanksgiving Dinner in a box, Turkey and Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, and Pumpkin Pie, if memory serves, though it's been about 12 years since I saw it, so I may be a little off

Don't know where the op is from in the great frozen wastes of Kanuckistan, but I just heard on the radio here in Calgary that in 5 days we've already exceeded what the entire month of November normally gets for snowfall.

While I made the same remark to a friend when I saw this, being a D&D player I also regretted not buying one and making it the mount for a really creative necromancer.

Okay, I laughed more at this than I should have while sitting alone in a McDonalds.

I've seen enough episodes of Supernatural to know how this ends.

And yet here in Canada Costco is selling them in a six pack.

I love how there's quotations around Have A Blessed Day. Pretty sure that's the most passive aggressive way a person can tell someone else to go bugger themselves.

If you look at the super tiny fine print in the picture of the pancakes, just left and down from the banana slices, it says "Does not contain butter". So no actual butter was harmed in the making of the butter-flavoured syrup.

Considering that I have exactly three boxes of cereal in my pantry, Froot Loops, Count Chocula, and Trix, and am a 40 year old man, I see nothing wrong here ;)

Fine print on the ticket: "Seat may have slightly obstructed view".

Of course they do, but they come in 40 pieces, and you have to assemble them yourself.

Lightning, it's a phrase that was used by this stupid little thug-wannabe 14 year old girl who was on Dr Phil. One of those episodes with a parent boo hoo-ing about how their child is disrespectful and out of control.

I worked at a Wendy's.... oh,16 years back, and was the daytime drive-thru order taker. I never minded the wipers being on, since they were usually far enough ahead not to spray at me. What bugged the hell out of me though was the people smoking when they pulled up to the window, since the extraction fans in our kitchen just sucked that crap right past my nose and into the building.

I was at Costco the other day and found a garage door opener. Hope the person who lost has a spare. Or a manual setting on their garage door.

Here in Canada is a chain of dollar stores called Dollarama. I've been in 5 in the last week looking for a specific thing, and have seen employees changing the Christmas aisles into Valentines on one side and Easter along the opposite side of the aisle.

I remember reports about government facilities banning Furbies because they were worried someone would use the toy to sneak secrets out of the facility.

I work for a plumbing supplier and outside our main doors is a cage that contains acetylene tanks, all of which are labeled flammable or explosive (can't remember which off hand), and has a sign right at head height that says "No Smoking. Smoking only in courtyard" which is a good fifty feet away. Nearly every week I see plumbers standing about five feet from the tank cage, puffing away on their cancer sticks. I'm waiting for the time I come back in from doing a delivery and see a gaping hole in the wall and ground where the cage was, and some guy laying in a gurney mumbling "I didn't know that would happen".

Corn starch works as an ant killer/deterent too as it also dries them out.

Around here Christmas and Halloween stuff started showing up within a week of each other. In August.

Similar thing happened at a gaming and comic store in a fairly busy here in Calgary. One day employees showed up to open the store only to find a padlocked chain on the door handles.

Begun? Please. At Costcos, Walmarts, and Dollaramas all over Calgary there has been Christmas stuff available since the middle of August. Pretty soon I'll be able to start shopping for the next Christmas season on January 1st.
