It's a white fabric that has (in this case) butterflies and other images printed on it. The images resist color when you color the fabric. The images feel almost like a soft plastic, but I'm not completely sure what they are printed with. This particular piece of fabric is from the Fabric Elements line by Rebekah Meier.
