Using the signal "(sic)" (Latin - "sic erat scriptum: thus was it written") as a sarcastic indication of disagreement with the speaker, rather than to clarify something that might actually otherwise be taken as a transcription error, reveals you first and foremost as pompous, and as educated (strictly in the formal sense) only as a puzzling afterthought.
