Tracy here today with a masculine birthday card I made for my brother. I used Kreaxions punch # 307 with the C insert and star template to make the doily behind the tag. I used the same punch with no insert to make the border and then cut the top flowery part of the punch off to make it more masculine looking. To make the tag, I coated a kraft cardstock tag with gesso and used a template and modeling paste mixed with some orange gelato and copper glitter to create the stripes. Then stamped the car and added the... Continue reading

Hi, Tracy here with my latest card. It's graduation time and my granddaughter is graduating from Pre-K! She's so excited and even gets to wear a cap and gown. My, how times have changed!! I used Kreaxions punch #311 with the C insert to punch all the corners and put a bit of bling in all the centers of the punched areas. I used my Cricut to cut out the image and used chalk for the skin color, cheeks and shoes. I have to say this image looks just like my granddaughter! Thanks for stopping by. Continue reading

Tracy here today with a quick and easy card for you. I took a piece of Tim Holtz's frosted sheets and embossed it. I folded the turquoise paper over the embossed sheet and used Kreaxions punch #920 without any insert to punch the edge. I then stamped and embossed the sentiment. Quick and easy! I will be using this technique whenever I need a quick card. The hardest part was trying to decide what punch to use! Continue reading

Hi! Tracy here with a Mother's Day card I made for my stepdaughter. I used punch #307 with the C insert to punch the two corners of the purple printed paper and then just folded them back. Added a corner of a square doily, some butterflies, a little bit of purple bling and stamped the sentiment. Continue reading

Tracy here today sharing a sympathy card. I don't really like making them but I always try to keep a couple on hand just in case I need one. I used Kreaxions punch #917 without any of the inserts. I then backed it with a strip of black paper so the hearts would stand out. And just by coincidence, the sentiment stamp has a couple of hearts on it also. Continue reading

Spring is in the air with flowers blooming and butterflies flying. Spring is such a pretty time of year so I decided to bring it all together in this card. I did a faux letterpress for the background and then did a blue color wash using water color pencils and a water brush. I punched out the two green and white papers using Kreaxions punch #920. Then added some twine and the flower. Continue reading

Hi, Tracy here with another birthday card. I started with some water color paper, added some gelatos and then used water to blend them. I then used the Kreaxions circle cutter to cut my circle and used template B to mark my punching lines. I punched along the marked lines with Kreaxions punch #920 to make the doily. I adhered the doily to the water color paper and backed it with purple cardstock and added it to my card base. Added a few raised stickers, stamped and embossed the sentiment. Continue reading

Tracy here today and I have a folding screen card to share with you. I've always wanted to make this type of card and I thought the Kreaxions punches would be perfect. I started with a 5 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and then scored it at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4". Then I folded it in half at the center score line and in the opposite direction at each of the other scored lines. Opened it up and punched along the top with Kreaxions punch # 920 and then just added some printed papers, stamps and... Continue reading
