Greetings All! I have just fallen in love with the Stamp Set Peaceful Boughs and it's coordinating die set. Sooo pretty! I wanted to share 3 cards I made from it. The gray one we will be making at my Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering this coming Sunday! It looks difficult, but it isn't and comes out very pretty. Here are the three cards I recently made with it (and the inside pictures too): Here are the supplies I used to make them! Peaceful Boughs Bundle (En) [153033] $52.00 Gold Foil Sheets [132622] $5.00 Copper Foil Sheets [142020] $5.00 Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets [149712] $0.00 Smoky Slate 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [131202] $8.75 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [100730] $9.75 Night Of Navy 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [100867] $8.75 Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper [150429] $14.50 Feels Like Frost Specialty 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Designer Series Paper [150444] $14.50 Uninked Stampin’ Craft Pad & Whisper White Refill [147277] $9.50 Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad [147113] $7.50 Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad [150711] $11.00 Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink Pad [150707] $11.00 White Stampin' Emboss Powder [109132] $6.00 Snowfall Accents Puff Paint [150691] $4.50 I encourage you all to get the bundle and save 10%! Page 15 of the Holiday catalog. I have had a chance to use the new Paper Trimmer that Stampin' Up! is coming out with. It is similar to the old one, yet very different. Several demonstrators have given their "opinions" on YouTube, so if you are curious, go check those out. I love it! My only concern is the opening and closing of the cutting blade/scorer "handle". I am so afraid that I will warp it by pulling it up. Probably fretting for nothing, but I had an old trimmer that had a warped arm and it ended up going in the trash because it wouldn't score and wouldn't cut good. But that is the only concern I have. It cuts extremely smooth - even on the whisper white card stock that was always the issue paper -... Continue reading

Boo! Be Grateful! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Wow! Here they come! I am very excited this year about all of these Holidays and more! But first lets see what my Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering did on September 22nd! We made a tea light Halloween lantern of sorts and two Fall cards that came from the August Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up! I fixed Beef Stroganoff to try and get us in the Autumn Chill mood. But low and behold it was like 78 that day! Oh well, we still had fun crafting and filling our tummys. (You may have to click on the photos to see all of each one. For some reason, my blog isn't capturing the full photo...eek!) We always have so much fun at these gatherings. I wish I could hold them more than once a month, but because I pretty much provide everything for them, it is just too exhausting. The ladies love it just as much as I do though. October 1st is bringing on some new things at Stampin' Up! Demonstrators will get to Pre-Order the BRAND SPANKING NEW Paper Trimmer! We are all so used to calling it the Stampin' Trimmer, but it is no longer referred to as that! I am going to order it and a pack of 4 extra blades to try it out! It still will score in addition to cut, so I am thrilled about that! Plus! It is only $25.00!!! Cheaper than our last one. Bargain, Bargain, Bargain!!! Here is a sneak peak at it: Here is a cute video showing the new Trimmer They do not have a release date for customers yet, depending on how it goes over with Demonstrators. Another great reason to ask me about becoming a Demonstrator! These pre-order opportunities just keep coming! Click on Join The Fun or Join Me for more information on how to become one of my team members! I would love to help you achieve your Paper Crafting dreams! Another exciting announcement is October and November's Paper Pumpkin kits are Special Edition Coordinating Kits called Winter... Continue reading

I finally fulfilled my dream of having Christmas in July. He He! Here are the photos! On a personal note, we took a fabulous Alaskan Cruise the first part of August and as soon as we got home, I got sick! This cold has hung around for 3 weeks now, but I am determined to shake it off! So, I haven't been diligent about writing or crafting. Just a few projects. It seems all of my July pictures have disappeared in the transition from iPhone photos and Google photos. I am still trying to figure out where they went, but technology is crazy, so hope to discover them in some unknown place! Well, I better get this posted...it... Continue reading

Happy July Everyone! Can you believe that the year is half over? Man-O-Man, what is going on? My only solace is we must be having a lot of fun! I know that I am, but still, I wish it would slow down! There are so many things to do and even planning your day out can be hard...we need a few more hours in the day! So, June 23rd I held my Monthly Craftin' Gals Sunday Gathering. I introduced the new catalog and displayed several sample cards, the paper packs that I used, and any coordinating Card Stock and Stampin' Blends that I used. The ladies were impressed and the outcome of that launch has been great! Here are the pictures of my samples: As you can see, the first card and the last two cards show the insides. I left the others blank for now. We had 2 Make N' Take cards also...here they are...I CASE'd them from someone - wrote the name of her down on a post it and low and behold, it apparently got tossed. Anyway, if you recognize these as yours, I want to THANK YOU, as the ladies absolutely loved them!!! Last but not least, here are my lovely group of ladies and some pictures of our work in progress. We have such a great time together! Friends Forever!!! Now for some business! Bonus Days Has Begun! You can now start earning Bonus Days coupon codes to use in August! Hi All! A lot has happened since my last blog (when was that?). Family is so important to me, and my husband is probably the most important of all. He is finally done with all of his cancer stuff, and we celebrated his last radiation treatment in mid-April. Now with prayers, we won't worry about it any longer. I managed to hold my monthly Craftin' Gals Sunday Gatherings despite the uproar...it was a very important thing to maintain my friendship with many wonderful ladies. We met February 24th and did our Spring of our Four Season Cards (idea from Patti Bennett) using the new (then) Painted Seasons bundle. We also did a purple lily card. Here is the group shot we took. We didn't seem to take pictures of our food for which we are famous for! I believe this is the time we had homemade Vegetable Soup! YUM! On March 24th we did an Easter Card and decorated Styrofoam Eggs for Easter. Using Fabled Friends for both, my egg idea was inspired by Christi Wroe! She does such darling little things, that I tried very hard to make my sample as cute as hers. The gals had a blast using bits of lace, the bunny stamp and blends, flowers from my stash and sequins and such to make some very sweet eggs. Here are some photos and this time we got some great food pics! (HA!) Nee even got some pictures of my Easter decorations...thanks Nee! Then, April 21st, we held yet another Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering! Same decorations still up since it was just the week after Easter...shhh, they are STILL up! Ha! This time we had a mini tea with tea sandwiches, salads and a fabulous Greek hors d' oeuvre! It was to die for. We did a card camp with only 4 cards, but it was all I could manage at the time. My black and white Thank You card was inspired by Kylie Page, the Varied Vases card was CASED from someone but no name on the picture, the Tropical Card was inspired or CASED... Continue reading

Hi Everyone! Today I am going to go back and catch up with some things! But let's get the business things in first! Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog is still active and popular. It has such a variety of new things, it is hard not to get one of each! But remember for every $50.00 purchase from the Occasions Catalog and the Annual Catalog, you will receive a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Yes, I said catalogs. The 2nd release is here and it has some additional FREE items! So cute! But wait! Starting March 1st through the 31st, Stampin' Up! is offering Sale-A-Bration Coordination! What is that? Well, it will consist of dies for these stamp sets seen in the Sale-A-Bration catalogs: Lasting Lily (Lily Framelits Dies), Hello Cupcake (Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies), So Hoppy Together (Hop Around Framelits Dies) and in the 2nd release, Painted Seasons stamp set (Four Seasons Framelits Dies) which is a bundle with some beautiful papers. Also in the Coordination selections is More than Words Photopolymer Stamp Set, and a new Story Label Punch. What a deal! These will be available for purchase, but since I got to pre-order them, I am sooo grateful for the the dies! Saves on the fussy cutting, which I am not great at! If you need any of the above mentioned catalogs, they can be seen by clicking the catalogs on my sidebar or let me know and I will get you one. I have a limited number left though. Now on to sharing my January 27th get together. I held my first official "Card Camp". I supplied everything for 5 cards. Here are the cards that I made as samples... This first one is one that I used for a great Video Boot Camp held by Connie Stewart and Jackie Bolhuis. I made a YouTube video of it..not ready to share to the world just yet - soon though! So all my gals took off on their own. Here are just a few pictures of them and our gathering complete with our food! You know how... Continue reading

Oh my, the month of LOVE! What a lovely month it is! We here in Southern California have had more rainy days since the New Year than we have had in years. No complaints, but let's hope we don't slide down the canyon! Ha! I wanted to share with you some Valentines projects first. This one I cased from the New Occasions catalog. Page 4 had the most lovely cards, so I wanted to somewhat replicate one of them. I used All My Love Designer Paper (# 148576), the Forever Lovely stamp set (#148624) and The Lovely Flowers Edgelit Dies for flowers (#148526). As you can see, not exactly like the catalog, but I just kept getting inspired as I went along! Next is one that I used a retired Christmas die, but loved the "theme" of "lighting my fire". The inside is from the Meant To Be Die (it is a bundle) (Occasions page 6 #148626 or #150587 for bundle). Then I made a mixed media sign...this hangs on our office door. I used the Large Letters Framelits (#141712) and Wood Textures 6 x 6 Designer Series Papers (#144177) both in the Annual Catalog. Oh, and the Heart Epoxy Droplets (#146583) from the Occasions catalog. Well, that is all for today. I will be out of town the 7th through the 11th visiting our sweet grandkids. Yay! So, until next time, be kind to one another and make time for CREATING WITH PAPER! Continue reading

The new Occasions catalog is live now and of course along with it comes Sale-A-Bration! You can click on the pictures of the catalogs in the sidebar to see all the NEW and exciting products that are out. Sale-A-Bration is such a great thing...purchase $50.00 from the Annual or Occasions Catalogs and get a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! I just recently received some of the New Occasions products, so I am going to get right in and start using some of them so I can show you some possibilities! Hi There! I just wanted to share some of my recent Halloween projects. It has become so difficult not to go right in to Christmas, and I admit, I have done a few Christmas projects. But, I decided to put those aside and concentrate on Halloween and then try and concentrate on Autumn projects... So, here are just a few examples: As you can see, the tags are using some Stampin' Up! new stamps and dies...they are just so cute! I love the little witch and cauldron. The first photo of 3 different projects, the ornament was my first try at making those. It isn't pretty in person, but it photographed nicely. Ha! I was inspired by Christi Wroe and her Christmas ornaments. But I need practice! Not good with hot glue...but I will practice! I have some more cards to show you, but wanted to get this posted. Until later, be kind to one another and remember to make time for some Creating With Paper! Continue reading

Yes, it has taken me awhile to write this! Had other things that were occupying my life...but I am here now! Sunday, August 19th (yeah, I am going back a LONG ways) we had our Creating With Paper Craftin' Gal's gathering! We always have such a blast at these events! That alone gives me encouragement to keep doing them. This time we made Halloween lanterns. I cut everything out for each of the girls but still had some cutting to do while they all were making them. Here is my sample I put out for everyone... Here are their works of art... They all just loved their creations! I am very pleased when they really like something we make. Then, September 16th, we did another Craftin' Gals Sunday and this time we made Christmas cards! Here are my two samples...by the way, thank you to Sarah Lloyd and Stampin Fee from Denmark for the other cute, cute inspiration. I must admit, I totally CASE'd these for my class. Maybe just a few changes! Mine: The results: 1st are Nee's cards - I love how she puts them in Pic Collage...something I must try! Here are Irene's cards and the group photo. Linda is showing hers and Phyllis was shy and is just holding hers. Our next gathering is October 14th, so local peeps, watch for the email!!! That is all for today. Oh, one last thing! How could I forget? If you don't have the Stamparatus yet, you NEED to get it! It is AMAZING! And now...there are tools to go with it! See the flyer below for more details! Grid paper - my number one get it now addition! Until we meet again...be kind to one another and remember to make time for some Creating With Paper!!! Continue reading

Greetings my Peeps! Ahhh, the days of summer! Delightful, and here in San Diego, it hasn't been too bad! The June Gloom is gone by 9am and the days are perfect low 70's in temperature. This is what San Diego is all about! I held my Crafting Gals Sunday group on the 10th, and used this gathering as my mini catalog launch! Here is my small display table, as most of my June order had just arrived on Friday! Eeek! I displayed the cards I had time to make from my May Pre-order, the stamps and DSP and punch, didn't show up in the picture...oh well... I want to thank all of the lovely ladies that I CASE'D for my show - with all that was going on here at home, my creative side of the brain was hard pressed and not working well...Thank you to Tatiana Creative, Gloria Plunkett, Dani Dziama, Karen Barber, Denita Wright, Laura Allen, and Randi Collins. Your creativity inspires me every day! I said mini catalog launch, because I want to re-introduce the catalog in July when more can come and I will be able to have a larger display!!! Since we weren't going to meet again until July, we decided to make patriotic small tags. These were perfect to hang on a Patriotic tree (for those of us who have a tree up all year...hint, Cathy!). But also, if you have a birthday in July - it is a cute tag for a present! I took the idea from my friend Ginny Nemchak who does beautiful vintage, layered projects. I printed out some patriotic pictures from Ginny, sized them for the small or mini tags and the gals had various patriotic prints for backgrounds. Embellishments were glittery pipe cleaners (I think they call them something different now), bows, buttons, flowers - anything they wanted to use to dress up their tags. Here are some pictures: Irene, Cathy and Nee with their patriotic tags Renee, Work in Progress and the Crafting Gals As you can see, we like to eat, drink (wine!), and craft. What... Continue reading

Greetings! After a long six months of family medical issues, I am proud to be coming back into the groove of my favorite thing to do! Papercrafting!!! I have been steady at it, but haven't had the time to post anything on my blog. Well, guess what June 1st means? The New STAMPIN' UP! CATALOG is LIVE! WooHoo! Many of you are on my mailing list, so you should have received yours by now. What a great catalog, isn't it? If you would still like one, let me know! I will gladly get one to you! You can go to the Let's Shop tab if you have your catalog already - shop til you drop! Ha! My catalog launch party is June 10 here at the Shedoudy residence. If you are a local San Diegan and wish to come, let me know and I will include you in the invite! I placed my big order on June 1st so hopefully I will receive my "stash" in time to make some pretty awesome items to show off some of the new bundles, papers, inks and embellishments! In May, we had our Craft Day on the 20th. We made 5 different cards using the Share What You Love Designer Paper (page 177 in new catalog). I used examples from someone on the Demonstrator Planning Site and I apologize, I forgot to get her name. Here were the samples I made from her examples. Whoever you are, THANK YOU for the great inspiration! Her work was much more detailed - she embossed many things. I kept it pretty simple for my class. Here are pictures of my gals hard at work. I love these "candid" photos...they sometime look so serious, but really we had a lot of fun! Note the wine??? Ha! I showed them all about the new ink pads and the ease of opening..they all loved it. I only had the in-colors at the time, so we had to use some of the old ink pads so still had the frustrations. I am glad they are so much easier to open... Continue reading

Greetings All! I am not going to apologize this time for not being more on top of things. We have had a medical issue here at home, and my family comes first. That being said, I did want to share some very exciting things coming up! What does this time of year conjure up in your mind? Spring flowers? April rains to bring those May flowers? Summer coming very soon? Well, my peeps, at Stampin' Up!, this time of year means the NEW ANNUAL CATALOG is coming! Yippee! As a demonstrator, I have had a chance to look at the catalog online. I wasn't able to attend an On Stage last weekend, so had to wait until Monday! BUT! It is an awesome catalog! One thing worth mentioning is the Stampin' Up! Colors REVAMP. Yes, there are 13 colors going away (Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder - whew!). The In Color 2016-2018 group (Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugar Plum) are retiring - In Colors are only around for 2 years then..gone. Flirty Flamingo though has managed to flirt its way back in to the Core Color Collection...sneaky little Flamingo! Ha! Here are the latest In Colors - aren't they awesome? There's more! Some older colors that were previously retired are....wait for it.....coming back! This includes Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, that little Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Mint Macaron (I can hear cheers from the crowds) and Blackberry Bliss. These 5 colors will be integrated into the Core Color Collection. So if your favorite In Color has gone bye bye, don't fret because sometimes they come back! The Brights, Regal, Subtles, and Neutral collections have been revamped too! They now incorporate the 10 new colors. What can I say, except they are GORGEOUS!!! The Brights, Regal, Subtles, and Neutral collections have been revamped too! You should notice that White, Vanilla and Black are no longer in the Neutral list. They are now just considered Basic... Hey Hey Everyone! I can not believe that March has come and is already half over! In February, we had a full month at the Shedoudy household..my girlfriend from North Carolina visiting, went to see Dirty Dancing - part of our San Diego Broadway series, Grandchildren visiting at the beginning of the month (well, late January) and of course business stuff like taxes (yuk). Valentines Day was wonderful...we stayed home and fixed a delicious dinner and hubby gave me a beautiful flower arrangement and not one, but two cards! He must love me, right? (big smiles). But here it is the "Lucky Month" and I am feeling very lucky! I haven't been working on many St. Patrick's Day projects but mostly Easter! Easter will be here in 2 weeks - WHAT? Anyway, I held my monthly Crafting Gals Get Together on Sunday the 11th, and we made two adorable products! My inspiration for the pizza box bunny scene was Monica Gale in the UK and our mini egg carton project from Amanda Bates from The Craft Spa. Thank you to both of these wonderfully creative women. Here are the samples I worked up for the girls to use as guides. Now here are some samples the Gals made...cute! and some group shots and my dear friend Chela and her projects. She looks very proud of them! I love getting together with these friends! It means so much to me to have them in my life. Well, I delayed sending this until I returned from a few days in the desert with old friends. We have been going out to Borrego Springs for Spring Fling for 30+ years now. It is never a dull moment and we certainly have the best home cooked food on the planet! But now back to reality and hoping I can get back to work soon. So, until next time, be kind to one another and always make some time for Creating With Paper! Continue reading

Greetings to All! First of all, I want to thank my loyal followers for not giving up on me. Between traveling, Holidays, and day to day living, my hubby and I have been down for the count a couple of times with this flu that is going around. We are very thankful that we didn't get the worst strain, but whatever one we got has been hard enough on us. We are on the mend and hopefully this will be the end of the illness for our household here in San Diego. Next, I need to catch you all up on what is happening with Stampin' Up! The New Year 2018 brings the new Occasions Catalog (wowzer) and of course Sale-A-Bration catalog! For every $50 you spend in the Occasions or Annual Catalog, you qualify for a "free" item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Bargain? You bet! I hope that my followers who order from me all got their catalogs, but if you haven't yet, please let me know and I will definitely get you the pair. I am hoping that they come up with a Part 2 of the Sale-A-Bration booklet, because I have already received every single item in the first go around! Talk about obsessed! Yikes! Often we get so excited about the Occasions Catalog, we tend to forget about the great items that are in the Annual Catalog. Don't do that! The annual catalog has absolutely a TON of fabulous items in it and it is good through May 31, 2018. There is still lots of time to take advantage of the great bargains AND remember, for every $50, you get a free item - this is good through March 31st! I just went through the Annual catalog, and even though I have many things marked as "received", I found some really cute things that I missed on my previous looksies! So take time to peruse it too! Now, for the things I have gotten done...I did manage to have a "Crafting Gals" Christmas gathering (took lots of drugs to mask my cold). We did our annual... Continue reading
