When the text that follows a bulleted list is intended to be part of the same paragraph as the text that proceeded the list, how is indentation handled? Is the text following the list indented like a new paragraph, or can it be not indented to indicated that it is part of the preceding paragraph?
Example (trimmed down from the original):

In order to remain a robust source of data, it must recruit new patients and retain existing patients. For my service learning, I will review recruitment methods. Areas of focus will include
• patient newsletter;
• outreach to rheumatologists;
• invitations to inactive patients to resume participation;
• polling active patients; and
• online marketing.
My capstone experience will focus on retention. ...

I'd like the service learning and capstone descriptions to be part of one paragraph that falls under the main idea outlined in the first sentence.
