I'm late to the good news. Wow - this story happened in 2013 and now we're in 2017! Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday I was following this story in the news. What baffles me is why DFO, charged with protecting Canada's fisheries, muzzled scientists especially their own Kristi Miller. To this day I don't understand it. Was the Harper gov't. on the 'take'? It makes no sense when you consider the economic importance of the wild salmon fishery (surely there's a lot of tax money to be had), but perhaps 'Big Fish Farms' yielded more money to the Conservative (Harper) gov't.???
