Justice is on the nest and the world is waking up. First the geese and now others are chirping.

Chris, if you catch the repeat, please let us know. And also when they plan to air it. Wow, that's pretty cool! Wow, that was a lot of geese!

Speaking of the egg, I'll take April 3 as a hatch date. I know someone else already said that and April 1 is 35 days. However, there was some cooling time when I believe L & J kind of expected another egg. Just a guess here. gregory, I agree with your NOT. Judy, you're doing the math on that? I've heard farmers using math that would blow me out of the water. It had to do with yeilds and drying corn and I'm not sure what all. This was while I was doing the math for them at the Credit Union.

Chris, interesting indeed. Poor pigeon and owner. :( I knew it! Heard on the radio daylight savings time is dangerous to our health. Just one fact I heard from studies: heart attacks have gone up by 25% for the Monday following the start of DST. There goes the train and birds are chirpping. There's also a woopecker somewhere nearby. We have a pileated woodpecker here that taps on a transformer on a light pole! All I can think is he should have a headache from that. I agree with your opinion of our TTV Chris. Pretty awesome!

GM Mavis! Maybe those things are plastic - that would be much better. Do you think more and more lines are going underground these days? That would solve a lot of problems except when there is a problem in the lines they have to be dug up. I'm thinking I'll get over it and let the experts figure it out as long as people make them more and more aware that something needs to be done. I guess maybe I should look up exactly what retrofit means so I understand better what they are doing with these poles. With all our thoughts on Four yesterday, I don't remember reading about any disturbances at our nest. That's a good thing! It looks like the start of another beautiful day at the nest. Love mornings!

GM Rhonda. Girl, you were up early! I was up at 7 EDT and it was still pitch dark out here in FL. UG, time change. I think I caught up on all the posts from yesterday. Sounds like all of you had Four on your minds all day, as I did. I got teary eyed every time Four popped into my mind. I'm glad our Alcoa eaglets are not tracked in any way so we can go on believing they are fine and actually come back to the nest to visit even though there comes a time they are no longer welcome. Here in FL I see lots of utility poles with metal cones on top that I'm pretty sure keeps the osprey from nesting there. I wonder if that would keep eagles away from poles also? I'm sure that especially in Iowa more and more poles will be made safer with the bad news of what happened to Four, along with all the eagles in the past. That's one big benefit of the transmitters. Having said that, I don't really like them either. L (?) is awake and up calling. Off she goes. It's just to darn dark for me to even think I might have the ID correct. And now one is back. Sleek head makes me think J. Now I need more coffee and then go back and check out some of the links from yesterday. bbl

Oh my, the good old days. The best thing to happen since then is indoor plumbing! This is a test post to see how I show up here now. OFF TOPIC: I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable here. Hence the off topic notice. Did the gov't already take over the internet? I'm wondering it that explains some weird things this morning.
