Great article!! I’ve seen so many great movements go this same way, e.g., Six Sigma, CMM, Hungarian, TCO, etc.. After some new methodology/process has been proven, it becomes a buzzword and everyone wants to get on the band wagon without fully understanding it. They implement it, partially, promote that they’ve adopted it, and fly the banner. Then, some years later, they claim it doesn’t work and blame the methodology; yet, they never implemented it correctly in the first place.
