I am shocked that people don't realize you can replace the watch band. You can! Yes you can!!!! I used to do that regularly to get a non-rubbery watch band to avoid getting a rash when I wore a watch. I was going to do that very recently but it turned out my new watch actually has a silicon band meaning no rash no problem.

I had one in 1987. (Or was it 1988? It was eleventh grade, I graduated high school in 1989.) There was the black one and a chrome one. I went and got the chrome one, fancy fancy. I think I had that watch for a month before I misplaced it.

I had the same watch very briefly circa 1987.

Jerry Brown wore one of these in 1992 in an interview on television. (It was during his presidential campaign. One eight hundred four two six eleven twelve! I remember...)
