How would you cite a chapter in an edited book, when the book edition is other than the first? Do the chapter's page numbers share the parentheses with the book edition number, separated by a semicolon? For example: Schmidt, P. R., & Singh, S. (2011). Authentic professional development and assessment for language arts teachers capacity for change. In D. Lapp & D. Fisher (Eds.), Handbook of research on teaching the English language arts (3rd ed.; pp. 322-328). London, United Kingdom: Routledge.

Is it necessary to cite the edition number in parentheses after the title if the edition is part of the title? For example: Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary. Thanks.
