Well the time has come; it is officially film festival season, the Tribeca Film Festival starts this Thursday April 13th and Cannes will begin May 11th. Social media allows film festival followers to be extremely involved. Tribeca is very fast to respond to Twitter dm's as well as Facebook questions. The myth that social media is destroying print journalism like newspapers and magazines, is just that; just a myth. Social Media sites have had very positive impacts on “classical” news sources from getting tips to spreading news like wildfires vis Twitter. There are thousands of animals that need good homes. Animal shelters in the United States are taking to social media to promote and bring attention to these animals. North Shore Animal League America, NSALA, located in Port Washington, New York is the worlds largest no kill shelter. But behind every great music artist there's an even greater public relations team. 25 is the contralto singers first album in four years which in a way helped her PR team great even more buzz about her return.
