I have worked for SSP (an affiliated company of HDR) in Stuttgart, Germany for more than 5 years, before I moved to Sydney, Australia in 2015 to start working as an Office BIM Manager for Grimshaw Architects. In this position, I am responsible for the organized BIM management and implementation. In addition, I also review existing BIM and CAD standards, workflows, virtual information models and sharing of data as well as providing in-house support and training to our staff members. Due to my vast experience through more than 10 years of construction employment, working as an Architekt (AKNDS), Project Manager, Regional BIM Director and having completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter previous to my studies, I not only know how to manage and implement BIM technology in the CAD work process to actual building constructions, but also have a strong link to the planning and construction side of projects.
