And remember this favorite phrase, which Italians say to one another to wish good luck, "In bocca al lupo!" I believe it is a reference to the wolf saving the lives of Romulus and Remus. But, I've never been able to figure out why the correct reply is "Crepe il lupo!" The wolf (should) die! I've been told one will not have good luck without knowing the correct reply... Does anyone know if this is true?
