This happened once at Edna's Edibles. Blair mistook Kelli Affinado--who was stealing from us--for Jo and you can just imagine the look on Blair's face when she realized her mistake. She took Kelli upstairs and apologized to her for hours and hours. Then, I left and Cloris Leachman, who it seems was my sister Beverly Ann, came to live with the girls and nothing was ever the same. Now no one remembers.

What makes 1996 an iconic year? Who expects McDonalds to be "sumptuous"? Jo, Natalie, and Tootie ate there all the time when they were at Eastland and Langley. Blair wouldn't. She said it was gauche food for peasants and she'd never eat something so "jejune." She was so fussy. She wouldn't even eat anything other than my quiche. Then, Jo introduced Blair to tacos and said after one taste of her taco, Blair would never stop munching. I guess she didn't stop munching. I get letters all the time about how much Blair still enjoys Jo's taco. They must be very filling because Blaire never mentions more than one. It's funny, Jo would never give me the recipe for Edna's Edibles. I'd loved to have tried it. I'm lonely now since my husband, Robert Mandan, is dead. Thank goodness for the letters from my girls, Girls, GIRLS!

But, the bacon in the carbonara is for HER pleasure. That's what Natalie told me. She says it's called Bone-a-Roma.

My old friend June Alyson--my she rest in dry peace--used to combine these items. Why? Depends. Natalie and Jo would never serve her at Edna's Edibles, but Blair was all for it.
