I would leave out the light blue and red. The 3rd from the top going anticlockwise. I love the orange and yellow as gives it a nice pop

I started keeping a quilt journal. So every finish has a page with a photo, when and where it was made, the pattern source, the recipient and any other comments about it. It is interesting looking back. My daughter when she was five picked a fabric with coloured little ladybugs, so I kept a piece of the fabric that was the inspiration and that is stapled onto the page as well.
