Hi. In my thesis I quote some authors and translate the paragraphs. I understood that I should take them as a paraphrase. It is right? Or should I put the translated paragraphs and mention somewhere that I translated them? I had also read in this blog that I could put "all the texts in French were translated by the author", but it is not clear to me whether I should specify when it is a translation. Thank you.

Hi. How do I point to a metonymy? Example: "in printed journals there are designs with a box called a balcony". Should I highlight balcony in any way? Thank you very much.

How do I highlight a word that is a name or an object? Examples: Strauss spoke of a negotiated order; The journalists mention it as the cablera; I have to use quotation marks, bold, italic, nothing? Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. My problem is that the original document is an article published in 2003 in a magazine whose paper version I do not have access to, and that only has numbers online between 2006 and 2016. My question is not how to quote it within the text but if in the bibliography I only put the reference of the secondary source or if I have to add some reference to the original text. Regards.
