Narc, Regarding your 8:17 Oh link, from the CDC notice it states “CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season.” Along with a number of tweeters, I would conclude that the tests currently used cannot detect and differentiate CoV-2 from the flu virus. So, many or perhaps more accurately, an unknown number of the cases and deaths are not due to a virus that possesses an approximate 99.8% survival rate. Label me shocked /s.

I have no less than 9 channels for which I can find Olympic coverage. So far today, my remote has only been able to locate PGA golf and Looney Tunes as suitable viewing. A device truly smarter than my smartphone.

Jane, Before the jailing of Fauci, I might prescribe the following reported segment of punishment doled out to William Wallace: His naked body was tied to horses and dragged six miles through the streets of London. Bystanders pelted him with garbage and excrement and even hit him with sticks and whips. The prisoners can then continue with the severing of his boyhood and the disembowelment. Medical research can have the rest.

Miss M and Captain Hate, I wish both of you well. “Well”! Get well soon.
Agreed Jane, he was amazing!
I wouldn’t be “1/2” surprised if the fans are not allowed attendance tomorrow in the name of uncommon sense. Would the PGA act in the same manner if Tiger was the unfortunate golfer in the same situation?
Most likely, Davod. Some good questions from twitter references: Another question: If the PGA Tour knew of Jon Rahm's positive result before he finished – even if it was just two holes earlier or whatever – why would they deem him capable and safe enough to remain around his caddie, playing partners, fans, etc., but only forced to WD after? The PGA Tour knew Jon Rahm tested positive for COVID, let him go around having the round of his life to pull way ahead of the field, and told him about it *after the round was over.* What, on like six levels, are we doing here?
Here is something worthy of a rant: In a stunning turn of events, the 2021 Memorial Tournament frontrunner Jon Rahm was forced to withdraw from the event after learning he tested positive for COVID-19 live on television. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2021/06/jon-rahm-withdraws-from-memorial-tournament-covid-19-reaction
Who’s in the market for a Classic Chevy? https://www.farmprogress.com/farm-life/farmers-chevyland-usa-collection-being-auctioned Here is one Chevy that could be purchased by the U.S. Govt. and displayed in the Capital to symbolize the workings of the government: "Among the most unique cars on the auction is the 1965 Chevy Impala that was the getaway car in the 1965 Big Springs, Neb., bank robbery."

From Miss M’s earlier post - “Well, here's another strange story: The Associated Press @AP · 1h Mummies on the move:” And I thought this story would include the phrases: “Speaker of the House, Pelosi along with Senators Schumer, Durbin, Feinstein, Leahy, Collins and Murkowski walked arm-in-arm to the spot of this week’s white supremacy inspired tragedy. They chanted in unison, Rebuild this wall in the spirit of equality and unity.” Just what recognition will slain Capital Police Officer, Billy Evans receive?

Not sure I saw this posted before: https://worldofbuzz.com/scientists-want-to-shoot-6-7-million-sperm-samples-to-the-moon-as-insurance-against-extinction/ “A team of six researchers from the University of Arizona, United States recently delivered a rather eccentric presentation during the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Aerospace Conference where they suggested a proposal to protect mankind from extinction. As reported by Insider, the scientists pushed for a ‘modern global insurance policy’ by building an ‘ark’ filled with 6.7 million samples and put it on the moon. Say what? This ‘Lunar ark’ would be created by shooting multiple payloads of sperm and ova samples of 6.7 million species to the moon. The samples will then be stored in a safe vault beneath the surface of the moon or a ‘lunar pit’ in which it can be securely preserved.” Mankind? Can one post such a word on twitter, etc. anymore? Multiple payloads! Ha! Bubba’s gotta lot of work on his hands.

I don’t recognize each poster’s stamp or whatever it’s proper label is (except Iggy’s), but am I the only one that thought the following lead-in “So, a cleaning lady is on her way to do a deep scrub...” was from Granma Stephanie and was one of her jokes? I guess I was at least 1/2 right or right 1/2 of the time. Has Durham’s picture surfaced on a milk carton yet?

One last post and will return to my lurking. Recently, we saw the movie “News of the World” which I found enjoyable. In this movie, during post civil war days, the lead character is an educated man who travels from town to town to read the news to the willing public. Of course, he selects the news he finds may be of interest to the listeners. The infamous actor and millionth plus survivor, Tom Hanks is the lead. Interesting or perhaps ironic that with the recent purging of certain social media news sites and the tuning out of traditional news sources, this maybe the only way some of us get the news. But then again, we may be forced to the readings via the point of a gun to hear the news not of one’s choosing. To end, viewing the Saints game to see if Drew Brees changed the name on the back of his helmet to Ashli Babbit

Today’s references to LBJ & 1964, lead directly to what I have been pondering recently. Trump should finish what he started and immediately declassify all remaining unreleased JFK assassination papers with no redactions. IMO, today’s election coup involves corrupt government agencies along with democrats of various forms and their high ranking supporters. Similar to today, I believe like forces were in play and involved in the assassination. Demonstrate to the American people that this level of corruption dates back more than 50 years ago to a time of perceived innocence. Prove to unassuming voters on the other side that their own beloved leader could be brought down at the hands of people they trusted or who they were told/brainwashed to trust. Convince them that something still remains rotten in Denmark. There a thousands of sleuths that will scour, digest and disseminate their findings as expeditiously as possible. I’m sure the Kraken won’t mind if Godzilla joins the fight.

Last I checked, Trump is still president. As such, the president should continue to do his work for the American people, govern and fulfill campaign promises. Foremost, start by advising Fauxi and Bric Brac, their services are no longer needed. As a result of this new direction and recognizing that the previous task force was not as successful as hoped for, proclaim the signing of an EO. This order would recognize and be based on the success of the Swedish government and the science and guidance of the Great Barrington Declaration. It’s issuance would be to protect the health and economic security of the citizens and businesses. As such state, local and municipal governments and businesses would be prohibited from enacting and enforcing impositions of shutdowns, limited occupancy, social distancing, mask mandates, etc. Non compliance will be met with significant fines. Any restrictions will only be issued by the order of the federal government. As Trump is this so called dictator, he won’t be doing anything out of the ordinary. If this liberal wet dream becomes a reality, Lid Bid-en will have 47 years of experience to deal with the unrest from the prospering open businesses and free citizens when he attempts to impose his draconian mandates. Just might light that civil war fire. But then again, aren’t EOs the same as laws now!
