Why Chevy's don't get recalled. https://www.wcpo.com/money/consumer/dont-waste-your-money/why-gm-won-t-recall-thousands-of-takata-air-bags "That's because Helton's Chevy is one of 3 million GM full size SUVs and pickups on the recall list for possibly dangerous Takata airbags. They include 2007-2011 models of the: Chevy Silverado Chevy Tahoe Chevy Suburban GMC Yukon GMC Sierra Cadillac Escalade" ""In each of the three years, I have received a recall notice for airbags that could violently explode and send shrapnel into drivers or passengers," .............but, wait..... "Helton started wondering if perhaps GM doesn't really want to recall these airbags, because of the tens of millions of dollars it would cost the company." "GM confirms that it believes the airbags in its full size SUVs are not a risk." "But The Center for Auto Safety is asking the NHTSA to deny GM any waiver of the recall. "Our position is that GM has not come anywhere close to demonstrating that their airbag inflators are so distinctly different from the others millions that have been recalled, that are going off and tragically killing people," So when papaweirdo and TNTGAY stop posting on here, we'll know they ate some shrapnel from there 1998 Chevy trucks.
Too bad for Chevy that UGLY isn't a recall. As it is, the 2019 Silverado 1500 and 2020 Silverado HD are screwed.
I have a 2007 F-150 with 5,000,000 miles and never changed the oil. Compared to: 2012 Silverado that needed lifters @ 59k 2009 Silverado that needed lifters and engine at 44K. 2008 Silverado that needed liberal funding to survive. Sorry Impostor, you lose. Loser.
Ram selling more because they put $10k on the hood. Chevy selling over MSRP and can't build new 2019 Silverado fast enough. Retro interior is in HIGH demand!! https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/756017555/overview/
NEWS*NEWS*NEWS* Ford boys grab your Kleenex. GM today announced Q4 financial numbers: Earnings UP---Profits---UP---Revenues---UP Ford boys: WAAAAAAA Posted by: papajim | Feb 6, 2019 9:17:22 AM Ahh, papaweirdo and his Bernie Sanders math. GM earnings up, profits up, revenues up. The $11.2B sham job of the American taxpayers was "free" obviously, because GM and Hussein Obama said they paid it back. ;-) ;-). Clean slate after bankruptcy and profits are up because the economy is thriving and their debt was sent to the working man. Funny how that works. Only a scumbag would buy GM.
mark my words, this thing is gonna be a game changer!! I know, because I know everything.
Did anybody see the Colorado won MT mid size shootout? Yes I said Colorado, not Silverado. Silverado and win are like oil and water. They just don't mix.
Wonder if this will be available on more than 5% of their trucks?
I'm so tired of RAM!!! Wins every comparison, wins all the awards and now wins tailgate wars!! UGH!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Interesting that Nissan and Toyota aren't being considered, presumably because they don't have an all-new 2019 model for consideration---news flash (neither does Ford). Posted by: papajim | Jan 7, 2019 2:10:14 PM Common sense would suggest they are including the Ford Powerstroke. You keep being you tho.
Btw how is that great wall coming? did Mexico sent a check yet! LOLOLOL Posted by: Chevrolet builds a better way to see the USA | Jan 8, 2019 5:12:25 PM Chevy hopes the wall never gets built. They will lose all the workers who are building the Silverados.
Oh yeah baby!! Can't wait for the comparison test! Game Changer!!
Once again, jimbo is wrong The average transaction price for the Ford F-series was $46,591. The Chevrolet Silverado was $42,162 and the Ram came in at $42,484, according to J.D. Power's Power Information Network data. Those figures include 2018 and 2019 model-year pickups. Posted by: TNTGMC | Jan 9, 2019 11:41:01 AM ......".Ford also offered the lowest incentives last month at $4,863 on average compared with $5,266 on the Silverado and $5,588 on the Ram, J.D. Power data said." Remember that when dumb papa and his circus clowns make those post about "Ford and Ram throwing $15,000 on the hood, while Chevy offers no rebates"......If I was wrong as much as papajim I'd smash my computer.
Ill take one of each please!! Love GM. Best trucks on the market! Posted by: TNTGMC | Jan 7, 2019 4:35:43 PM I still remember when I discredited Edmunds for picking the Ram 1500 the best truck of 2019. Now Motor Trend, C&D, KBB, North American Auto Writers etc..have all picked the impressive new Ram 1500. The new GM trucks have combined for ZERO wins in a head to head comparison. They have even lost to the againg F-150 in many test. I will leave the internet if PUTC picks the Ram also. F@ck these hoodwinks!!
@richard Thanks for taking the time to cut and paste all that great info. Other people come on here and talk about stock prices when they are proven wrong time and time again. A lot of good info you supplied there. Unrelated, off topic declarative statements are too common and pointless on this site. Nice to see a user with a brain post something with substance.
F@ck Ram!! Dang it this truck looks awesome!! I F@cking hate them!! It doesn't have a 6.2 like 5% of GM trucks so there!! That interior is so nice that I f@cking hate it!! Why?? Why papa? You told johnny and I that Chevy would pass Ford before we grew up and now this f@cking sh@t!! Why?? Why?? Whhhhhhhhyyyyyy?
I only post facts....Posted by: TNT GMC | Dec 17, 2018 Did you wash your hands after you posted that? No, well at least use some hand sanitizer Posted by: papajim | Dec 17, 2018 8:40:25 PM Another useless papjim post. Did you think this was funny weirdo? Try putting down the Pabst Blue Ribbon and staying on topic.

Talk to people who own/drive RAM heavy duty pickups and you're talking to satisfied customers. People LOVE their 2500s Posted by: papajim | Dec 19, 2018 4:00:08 AM @brain dead old man who thinks he knows everything, but rarely gets anything right. Read it an weep. Ram and Chevy HD 2500 trucks make top 10 least reliable. https://www.consumerreports.org/car-reliability-owner-satisfaction/10-least-reliable-cars/ https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/pictures/here-are-the-10-most-and-least-reliable-cars-according-to-consumer-reports/17/

I have one word: Game Changer!!
GM finally got their interiors on par with Ford after 20 years of plastic mess. Now you want to say Ford is the most plastic. Go to bed son.

Us Chevy guys will always be able to say our 6.2 and Duramax are fast. Even if the rest of the truck looks like it was designed and engineered by Fisher Price.

With Chevy likely making the same mistakes on the HD interior as they did on the 1500 and it being too late to change, Ram will definitely be the #2 truck brand by 2020. Possibly posing a real threat to the Ford brand after 41 or whatever years. I only post facts.

This classic Ford-vs- Chevy will end the way they always do. With Ford selling more trucks. Just the truth @$$ clowns.
You don't see recalls like this from GM. Our internal investigations find no problems at all. https://www.usnews.com/news/business/articles/2018-02-07/for-3rd-time-general-motors-seeks-to-avoid-takata-recalls
I didn't even know what this truck was. Then I saw CHEVROLET on the front and I got all moist. I love this truck as much as I love Papajim
