Hello, Classmates! Happy Spring Break! Natália just finished our weekly call with Olga. Olga confirmed that Nielsen is getting involved in our project, which I am super excited about! I hope to make some connections and learn more about their business. Nielsen has put a survey expert on helping us refine our survey, and she made quite a few changes to our existing survey. She has definitely improved it and made it a better fit to get the data we need. The downside is since Nielsen is now involved, things have slowed down quite a bit. Olga said the survey... Hello, Classmates! I forgot to post on Friday, but I'm here Monday trying to remember what happened last week! In our meeting with Olga she told us that she is trying to partner with Nielsen for our survey which I am really excited about! I have always been obsessed with Nielsen, so I hope the partnership works out. They would help us edit the survey and with analyzing the results. Because of this partnership, submitting the survey has been pushed back. Instead of working on the survey, Natália and I are creating an ad to post on Facebook to encourage... Continue reading

Hello, Classmates! Not too much has changed since I reported last week. After our meeting with Olga, Natália and I continued collaborating on the survey outline. We were able to add to what Olga and Shari (her colleague that joins some of our meetings) had done. I feel like the questions we came up with will add value to the survey. Natália emailed Olga on Tuesday to take a look at the survey, however we have not yet heard anything back from her. She is currently traveling so she cancelled our weekly meeting for Friday. The meeting is rescheduled for... Continue reading

Hi, Classmates! Natália and I have had our weekly meeting with Olga and conducted one interview today. I realized during our meeting with Olga (from 10-11) that for our 11:30am interview, I accidentally sent the interviewee the wrong time. I quickly sent her an email, but she did not respond in time. Therefore, we will have to reschedule that interview for next week. So far, almost every interview has had to be rescheduled. As for the meeting, Natália and I both hung up pretty frustrated. Her and I both worked on a survey to be distributed in the next couple... Continue reading

Hello, Classmates! Happy Friday! This past week went well for Natália and I. We had four interviews scheduled and completed three of them. Our last interviewee "forgot" so we had to schedule for next week. Initially, we had issues with noise and connection, though we found a solution by booking rooms in the library and conducting the calls over my laptop using Uber Conference. The quality is great and we are able to easily record! I do a majority of the speaking for the interviews, and I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm not a... Continue reading

Hi, Classmates! I hope everyone's projects are going well! Natália and I had our weekly meeting with Olga today. Last week I was feeling pretty annoyed and overwhelmed, but I feel much better today. We completed two of our interviews last week and have four scheduled for next week. We had a few technical issues with the calls and were not able to record them as we had hoped, but overall they went well. For now, we are focused on staying organized and completing the interviews. Last week was quite busy for both Natália and I, but we managed to... Continue reading

Hello, Class! Natália and I had our weekly call with Olga this morning. Her and I have been coming up with a lot of questions we wanted to ask Olga. We completed last week's deliverables and wanted to check in and ask her some of the questions we have complied including; contacting people for interviews, her competitors, what her goal is for the software she is trying to create, etc. I felt we had compiled a sufficient amount of contacts for interviews, though it turns out she wants 200 contacts to choose from. This is a difficult task because it... Continue reading

Hello, Class! Natália and I are on the Shopperations project. We have been working with their Founder and CEO, Olga Yurovski. Essentially, our project is to conduct field research to help Olga develop a new analytics software for her company. So far, we have been conducting secondary research and trying to understand and familiarize ourselves with Shopperations' current software. I know juggling 18 credit hours and this project will be difficult, but I have been working to get ahead in my other classes to hopefully ensure I have more time to commit to this project. Lately, I have been feeling... Continue reading
