By Ian Consoli Every company is full of unsung heroes. These silent warriors typically dwell in departments such as IT, HR, and (of course) Accounting. For the newest addition to our "Get to know the Tablas Cru" series, we wanted... Continue reading

Thank you, Peter! Glad to hear the bottles arrived early and the messaging is clear. We look forward to hosting you virtually on the 24th. Be sure to type in any questions you have in the chat. That really is our favorite part!

I'm glad to hear how much you enjoy the Master the World packs, Frank. Members like you and your wife are the reason we keep these virtual events going! The horizontal tasting around the country would be tough! We batted around the idea of a virtual blending seminar in the lockdown days, but the logistics just didn't make sense. That said, we would love to find other ways we can connect with club members around the country.

By Ian Consoli 2007 was a big year for Tablas Creek. It was a blockbuster vintage, one of the most intense (and highest-scoring) in our history. It was the first year we could ship to five new states (Florida, Maine,... Continue reading

By Ian Consoli We passed the midpoint of the 2022 harvest sometime last week, and what a week it was. In terms of timing, that's pretty early. This would make sense since this harvest was our earliest start (August 17th).... Continue reading

By Ian Consoli In the early morning of August 17th, we brought in our earliest estate-fruit pick ever with just under four tons of Viognier. Our first purchased fruit came in later that the same day: 4.25 tons of Syrah... Continue reading

Thanks Richard. Paco adjusted quite well! Paco's incredibly social and not hard to get along with. The herding dogs belonged to Nathan so they went with him. Dane doesn't currently use herding dogs or plan on it, but we will see if that changes!

Thank you for your feedback Nikki! We agree that it feels more personal and relaxed, as the pourer does not have to rush from one end of the bar to the other to pour a tasting. We have loved the personal connection seated flights have brought to the experience. Hope to see you at the winery soon!

Thank you Laura! That's great to hear. The inside of the tasting room is now open, and we can't wait to host you and your guests again.

Hi Naomi, I would reach out to Brooke Robertson of DELMAS Wines out of the Rocks District. We have had her on the Tablas Creek Facebook Live show talking about sustainable farming. I believe she is working with dry-farming. She's also very connected with the wine community. Hope that helps!

Thank you Elissa. What's the fun of learning new things if you don't share them with others, right?

Absolutely! And what a great opportunity to communicate with winemakers and owners. Virtual tastings are here to stay!

Your welcome. We've learned there is a lot of interest in these kind of events and I really hope more wineries start employing them.
